What a wild ride converting the newsletter has been - not something I'd lightly undertake again in the future, that's for sure. I hope you've now received the new newsletter advising you of the new format and how to best tailor it to your preferences (it was sent about three or four hours ago).
If you didn't receive it, then something has obviously gone wrong. Please check your spam and bulk mail folders, and please be sure to add [email protected] to your contact list/white list so as to ensure that you don't miss out on the newsletter.
This email is being sent to you via the old system, and this will be the last time I'll be sending you email through the old system.
Obviously there have been some misunderstandings. Over 1,000 of you, including some long-time readers, complained about the new newsletter as being spam and so have been unsubscribed automatically.
If you did this by mistake, you can resubscribe by going to this web page, putting in your email address at the top, choosing Email from the options in step one and then selecting whichever of the various newsletter options you wish in step two.
I know the new interface has some challenges and complications. I'm working on that with the Feedblitz people, and hope to smooth out the rough edges as soon as possible. Please hang in there meantime.
Please let me know if you have any unresolved problems.
There has not been a normal newsletter today, but you can read several interesting articles I've posted during the week on the blog site.
Let's hope for a normal - and new - newsletter next week.
Until next week, please enjoy safe travels.
