Amadeus Waterways Travel Protection Plan - $229 per person

PART A: TRAVEL ARRANGEMENT PROTECTION

The benefits are underwritten, funded and administered by Insure America.

$10,000 Trip Cancellation - Reimburses lost deposits if you must cancel due to covered sickness, injury or death to you, your travel companion or a member of your immediate family.

$10,000 Trip Interruption - Reimburses expenses or lost deposits if you must interrupt your trip due to covered sickness, injury or death to you, your traveling companion or a member of your immediate family.

$1,000 Missed Connection - Reimburses up to $1,000 to cover extra fare paid to join your Amadeus Waterways cruise if you missed a scheduled flight due to a covered reason.

$1,000 Hotel Upgrade Protection - Covers up to $1,000 of charges imposed if you must upgrade your lodging to single occupancy if your traveling companion cancels for a covered injury, sickness or death.

$1,000 Travel Delay Allowance - Provides up to $1,000 for unscheduled accommodations or meals if you must interrupt your trip due to a covered injury or sickness to you or your traveling companion.

PART B: INSURANCE BENEFITS

The benefits are underwritten, funded and administered by Insure America.

$10,000 Accident Medical Expense - Covers reasonable and customary medical expenses incurred within 365 days of the covered injury. Dental and medical evacuation expenses covered separately.

$10,000 Sickness Medical Expense - Covers reasonable and customary medical expenses incurred within 365 days of the covered sickness. Dental and medical evacuation expenses covered separately.

$15,000 Medical Evacuation - Covers up to $15,000 for a medical evacuation the attending physician deems necessary.

$1,000 Emergency Dental - Covers up to $1,000 in emergency dental treatment as a result of an injury.

$2,500 Lost/Damaged Baggage - Covers your personal effects up to $2,500 for baggage lost, stolen or damaged.  $500 maximum applied to jewelry, gems, watches, camera equipment and furs.  $250 per article limit on other items.

$250 Baggage Delay - Provides up to $250 for the purchase of necessary clothing and essentials if your luggage is delayed 24 hours or more.

$25,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment - Includes coverage if loss occurs within 180 days of an injury that occurred while on your Amadeus Waterways cruise.

$100,000 Air Common Carrier Accidental Death & Dismemberment - Includes coverage if loss occurs within 180 days of an injury that occurred while on your Amadeus Waterways cruise.

Note: Pre-Existing Medical Conditions Accepted

The pre-existing medical conditions exclusion is waived if you purchase the insurance within 24 hours of making your initial trip payment.

Conditions and Limitations: Traveling Companion is defined to be a person booked to share the same cruise accommodations with you during your entire Amadeus Waterways cruise. Immediate Family Member means your children, children-in-law, step or adopted children, legal guardian or ward, parents, parents-in-law, stepparents, siblings, siblings-in-law, step-siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, legal spouse, aunts, uncles, nieces, or nephews, who reside in the United States or Canada. Sickness is an illness or disease of the body, which requires treatment by a physician. This plan does not cover a loss resulting from an illness, disease or other condition, which occurs at a time when this plan is not in force for you.

Certain exclusions and limitations apply. Please review your Description of Coverage for complete coverage and exclusion information. For example, coverage does not apply to a sickness or condition of you, a Traveling Companion or Immediate Family Member traveling with you that existed during the 60 days prior to the effective date of this plan, unless the insurance is purchased within 24 hours of making your initial trip payment.

All medical benefits are defined to be in excess of any other group or government insurance you maintain.

IMPORTANT: You may not purchase this plan after you have made final payment for your trip. Claims may be filed up to one year after the covered incident. Trip Cancellation & Interruption coverage provided by Amadeus Waterways will only cover penalties charged by Amadeus Waterways. Coverage does not include any additional fees charged by the travel agent or group organizer.

$40 Supplemental Cover :  Any reason cancellation

If you add the extra $40 cover, and subsequently cancel for any reason, Amadeus Waterways will return any penalty amounts to you in the form of a cruise credit voucher to be used by you within a year of the cancellation.
